I løbet af næste år vil der ske nogle ændringer til DR’s streamingplatform DRTV. DR vil nemlig kræve, at man opretter en konto, og logger ind på deres platform, hvis man vil kunne se alt andet end live-tv. Det siger Lasse Bastkjær Jensen til Journalisten. I følge Lasse Bastkjær Jensen, direktør for Strategi og Brugere i DR, så har deres platform længe været et såkaldt “one size fits all” tilbud, som nu skal personliggøres. Det nye krav vil skabe mere end fem millioner unikke forsider, hvor hver bruger får forslået lige præcis dét, som algoritmen mener de kunne have lyst til at se, ud fra hele DRTV’s katalog.
Personliggjorte forsider på streamingplatforme er bestemt ikke en ny ting, og derfor er det også en glæde at se, at DR nu tager det 100% til sig. Med det, snart, tvungne login vil man også kunne fortsætte med at se fra der hvor man slap sidst, uanset om du så på din telefon, din computer, eller i DRTV-appen på dit fjernsyn. Oplevelsen vil blive mere sammenhængende, og DR håber at dette vil tiltrække endnu flere brugere til platformen, og at danskerne vil få mere for deres public-service-penge.
Obligatorisk login på DRTV bliver tidligst indført i andet kvartal af 2024.
